“The scale of everything is simply mind blowing,” remarks Carsten Myhill, the brand manager for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Myhill, along with his creative team, were invited by 20th Century Fox during the production of their film adaptation of Assassin’s Creed, to look at the sets, props, and production designs that went into bringing the popular video game franchise to the screen.

Below is an exclusive clip of the tour, which has Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’s creative director Jean Guesdon, marveling at the attention to detail that went into bringing the world to life. It’s the kind of enthusiasm filmmakers shooting an adaptation want to hear from the creators of the original source material. “It’s something really special,” praises Guesdon as he holds some of the weapons he helped design.

Assassin’s Creed aims to be the saving grace for silver screen video game adaptations, which have struggled in the past to connect with a mainstream audience. With the talent behind this film, including superstar Michael Fassbender, Academy-Award winning actress Marion Cotillard, and acclaimed director Justin Kurzel (Macbeth).

The Assassin’s Creed movie will be coming to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray™, 3D Blu-ray™ and DVD on March 21.
